Our VISION

The Lawson Academy is creating a one-of-a-kind school that puts your child’s gifts and talents FIRST. That's why we're building a partnership between Community Preschools, The Lawson Academy, and Eight Million Stories. Together, we can offer a cradle-to-career educational journey for those furthest from opportunity.
Explore the Community School Model
This partnership follows the “Community School” model: where teachers, families, students, and the community work together to holistically support students and families, in and out of the classroom. In a Community School, everyone works together to guide students’ physical, social, and mental development. Under the Lawson Academy name, this partnership will:
Centralized Enrollment Prek-3 to Kinder, 6th-8th
Strategic Parent Engagement
Hands on Experiential Learning
Mental health, medical, and social services to students and families.
Project-based learning (PBL), enrichment activities, internships, and academic interventions to help students succeed.
Develop and engage the whole child with robust programming in STEM and the arts.

Our Goal
The goal of this partnership is to help our educators remove every barrier that tells kids “I don't belong here, school isn't for me.” That way, students can unlock their genius and thrive in and out of the classroom. While this partnership provides massive value to students and the community, it will also support each institution involved. This enables us to support each child for 16-20 years and see the full impact of a personalized, community-centered education.
